Brute 2.0

Postby NickG » Mon Aug 14, 2017 4:51 pm

Brute - 10 XP

The Brute is the epitome of strength and force. They use their power to overwhelm foes. Few mortals are naturally stronger than a Brute.

-Rage: Adrenaline
-Power: Knockdown
-Strength 4

Initial Benefit:
Brute’s Strength- You treat your Strength as 1 higher. This is, for all purposes, treated as natural Strength and stacks with other Strength bonuses from spells and effects. It is multiplied for effects that multiply strength, etc.
Additionally, when raging, the bonus strength granted by Rage: Adrenaline increases by 1.
Brute’s Rest: Whenever you rest, you gain one free use of any Tier 3 or lower Rage skill, usable any time before the period ends.

Class Skills:

*You purchase skill points as a Fighter.

(T4) Unrelenting Strength (8 XP)- You may “Reduce” all Weakness effects to instead act as a Strength drain. You lose 1 Strength every time a Weakness effects strikes you. This Strength can be restored via certain potions or spells, or returns at the refresh. You otherwise ignore the duration of the Weakness effect. Additionally, Brute’s Strength improves by 1 while not raging.

(T4) Brutalize the Field (8 XP)- If your Push, Trip, or Knockdown attacks are resisted or strike the incorrect area, they return half of their SP cost (round down). For Rage effects that perform these effects, at least two of the strikes must be resisted to trigger this effect. Additionally, you may utilize “Power” skills with any melee weapon type.

(T5) Power: Push 20 (Requires Brutalize the Field, Power: Push 10, 6 XP)- You may spend 2 additional SP to modify your Push 10 attack to instead be a Push 20.

(T5) Strength 6 (Strength 5, 8 XP)

(T5) Brute’s Stance (Unrelenting Strength, 16 XP)- As long as your effective Strength is 6 or higher, your Rage skills provide one additional attack of their type. Additionally, your Brute’s Strength improves by 1 while not raging and 1 while raging.

(T6) Master Skill- Hidden
Mud, Grob Alchemist/Smith, Laborer/Life Druid
Brock Saturn, Ostlea Human, Berserker/Cleric of Bedros
Rain Glasswalker, Wild Elf Fighter/Shaman
Carde, Town Notary
Lord Sigurd Kragmoore, Governor of Banner Rest
