Dabbler - 10 XP
While being an Expert can get you rather far, some would prefer to work in multiple fields. Sometimes the goal is self-sufficiency. For others, it’s just plain curiosity. Dabblers get better at what they favor, but they also develop a host of new work skills and the ability to influence workers.

-2 Professions
-Expert or Laborer Class
-One Tier 4 Expert or Laborer skill
-One Tier 4 Profession skill
-Colonist Labor 1

Initial Benefit: True Expert - You gain three uses of True Expert per event. They can do one of the following:
-Cut the gather or craft time of a use of a profession in half.
-Reduce the cost of the gather or craft use by 3 EP.
-Reroll a gather result for no time or resource cost.
-Increase your gather skill’s level by 1 for one use.
-Add one skill or spell enhancement slot to a non-tech gear or weapon item that you craft.
-Reduce the tech level of an item you craft by 2 (to a minimum of 1)
-Increase the base expiration of an item you are crafting that has at least a 2 month base expiration by 1 month.
-Increase the expiration time of any material from one use of gather that has at least a 2 month base expiration by 1 month.
-Add the “Easy to Repair” quality to an item you are crafting.
-Refund half the materials from a Cask, Barrel, Feast, or Batch.
-Gain +2 resources from a farming result.
-Select a specific Tier 3 or lower resource from a gather skill that is normally randomized to be your result.

Dabbler’s Rest: Your rest restores 1 additional EP.

Class Skills

(T4) Additional Profession Slot 1 (8 XP)- You may now purchase one additional profession.

(T4) Gathering Team 1 (10 XP)- You have become so influential in your craft that others are interested in your work and are willing to help you achieve your goals, often for an inexpensive price. Once per event you may send out a gathering team to supply you with specific materials for a project by showing a set of plans at the shop. The team will go out and gather the exact materials needed. The team cannot gather Rare or Unique materials, but they can gather anything Uncommon or Common. You must pay the team 1 Varii per common material and 3 Varii per Uncommon material to receive the items, as well as spend 5 EP. The gathering team takes 1 hour to complete their task. The items all expire that same event.

(T5) Additional Profession Slot 2 (9 XP)- You may purchase a second additional profession and gain one additional use of True Expert per event.

(T5) Foreman (Gathering Team, 10 XP)- Any Unskilled Workers on land tiles you are the Renter of are treated as Skilled.

(T5) Gathering Team 2 (16 XP)- You may now use Gathering Team once per period.
