Gunslinger 2.0

Gunslinger - 15 XP
While to most, firearms serve as a big attack that they have to set down or spend time reloading, the Gunslinger has become so good at wielding one-handed firearms that they use them as their primary form of attack in nearly any situation.

-Proficiency: Small Arms
-Ability to use Tech Level 4 items or higher. (Whether through Aptitude, Use Tech, or Otherwise)
-Bow: Impact 20 or Mechanical: Impact 20
-Proficiency: Dual Wielding 1
-Tier 4 in any class

Initial Benefit:
Advanced Small Arm Use- You gain several improvements when using Small Arms.
-If the only tech items you are using are Small Arms, you do not suffer from the penalty to using magic items and tech items together.

-While a Small Arm weapon is on recharge time, you may continuously fire with it as normal, dealing “Boom 2” with each shot, as long as the weapon itself has a base damage of 2 or more. These are referred to as “off-recharge attacks” When the recharge time is up, its standard damage shot becomes available again. There should always be a 1 second pause between shots and hammer firing is not allowed.

-You may use the following skills with Small Arms as long as you have the skill. The damage type changes from “Arrow” to “Boom”: Bow: Impact, Bow: Disarm Medium, Bow: Throat Shot, Mechanical: Heart Shot, Mechanical: Impact, Mechanical: Push. Using a skill with a gun triggers its recharge time and costs 1 additional gunpowder.

-You may dual-wield Small Arms.

Class Skills:

(T4) Signature Firearm (6 XP, Repair or Repair Tech): You may spend 10 SP to make a Small Arm Weapon a Signature Firearm. The weapon is treated as Soulbound (a quality not normally available to tech items) and its expiration time increases by 5 months. You may have two Signature Firearms at a time. If you ever select a third Signature Firearm, one of your previous two expires immediately and the card is discarded. If a Signature Firearm ever breaks, it cannot be repaired by normal means, and is instead repaired the next time you use a rest. Signature Firearms should have personalized name in place of their standard name.

(T4) Tip of the Hat (10 XP)- Once per rest, by making a signature gesture and calling out a target, “Tip of the Hat, X” the Gunslinger deals 1 additional damage on all off-recharge attacks as long as they are attempting to bring that target down. The effect last until the target is taken down or 5 minutes have passed.

(T5) Small Arms: Rapid Reload (12 XP)- A Gunslinger may spend 5 SP to recharge a Small Arm they are wielding.

(T5) Small Arms: Deadly Aim (18 XP, Tip of the Hat)- A Gunslinger may add 5 SP to the cost of a ranged impact skill used with a Small Arm to add the “Deathblow” effect.
