Paladin of Hope -15XP
The Paladin of Hope fights for a brighter tomorrow, gained through wisdom, pragmatism, and intellect. They apply their holy skill to the greater world.

-Any Skilled Class
-Any Divine Class
-Aptitude 3
-15 HP
-30 IP
-7 EP
-Either one Tier 4 skill from a Skilled class, or one Tier 4 Cleric domain, Priest domain, or Pursuit domain spell.
-May not have another Paladin advanced class.
-Available Religions: Tech Ascendancy, The Word, Monk Exotheism

Initial Benefit: Hopeful Mind- You take no effect from Feeblemind. Your Aptitude cannot be drained or forced below 1.

Hope Paladin’s Gift- Choose either Smithing, Engineering (Tech Ascendancy Only), Cook/Brewer (Exotheism Only), or Enhancement (The Word Only). You may spend IP in place of SP when crafting with this profession.

Hope Paladin’s Rest- You may rest while crafting with the profession you chose for Hope Paladin’s Gift without being interrupted.

Class Skills:
(T4) Religious Drive (1 XP, Cryptography 1)- When deciphering a text that focuses on religion or history, you treat your Cryptography + Aptitude total as 1 higher.

(T4) Divine Work (10 XP)- Once per period, you may create a Divine Work when crafting. It has one of the following effects, depending on what you are crafting:
-Create an enhancement that has one additional use of the skill or spell.
-Double the numerical restoration of a Keg, Feast, Barrel, or Cask.
-Add a skill or spell enhancement slot to a weapon or armor.
-Increase the expiration time of a tech item by 2 months or reduce its Tech Level by 2.
The item gains the “Divine Work” quality.

(T4) Lay on Hands (10 XP, req Will 2)- You may Lay on Hands a number of times per period equal to your Will. Lay on Hands restores 10 Health, but it cannot be used on yourself.

(T5) Inspire Hope (10 XP, req Will 2)- A number of times equal to your Will per period, you may remove one of the following via pointed gaze: Pain, Torture, Feeblemind, Confusion.

(T5) Hope's Armor (16 XP)- At the beginning of every event, you start play with a Shield that resists two Spells. You have a slot for one additional Shield buff.
